“CRUCIFIX OF THE WORLD” 1988.

The artwork is made of plaster and colour pigment.  It represents the Soul of Nature being crucified on the altar of mankind’s desires for technology and chemical inventions that pollute the natural world.  The tree of life on which she is being crucified turns into the mushroom cloud of the Hydrogen bomb.  She is enmeshed in a net that imprisons her and the knife signifies the stab to the heart that will come when Nature can no longer save itself or mankind from his own       recklessness.
